Ipswich City Orchestra dares to take you from ancient Rome to the world of sci-fi movies.

Be transported for a couple of hours to “galaxies far far away” with music from Starwars, E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial and even 2001 – A Space Odyssey.

Breathtaking music will sit beside the majestic marches you know so well.

Come and be surprised at the very clever program designed to appeal to all ages!

You can come dressed as your favourite Starwars or sci-fi character, or come as you are and enjoy a unique Prom.

Some works will have images and video footage to add to the presentation.

Witness the BIGGEST Orchestra ever mounted in Ipswich under the baton of Chief Resident Conductor, Patrick Burns.

Ever wished you could get closer to the action at a V8 Supercar event? You can at the Ipswich 300, Queensland Raceway, 30 April – 2 May.

The Ipswich 300 provides the rare opportunity to walk onto Pit Lane before the start of the race on Saturday and Sunday – free when you buy a Grandstand ticket.

Plenty of entertainment will be available at the track and there are fantastic General Admission options too, with prices starting from only $31. Kids under 12 receive free General Admission with a paying adult and there is free parking available.
